Dear Friends:

Sending along the latest information as we head into the weekend . . .

ONLINE SERVICES
As I noted last week, we offered a streaming service of Compline Tuesday through Friday at 7pm. (There was a sound issue on Thursday night, so it wasn't the most compelling experience, I know.) This week, we decided to offer Compline on Tuesday and Thursday. You can find tonight's at this LINK at 7pm. I hope you'll join us!

Sunday, we will offer Morning Prayer (Rite II) at 10am. You can find the stream at our WEBSITE , or on our FACEBOOK page, and on your television through the Boxcast channel.

Also, each Wednesday, we feature one of our stunning stained-glass windows, with music provided by our Choirmaster, Andrew Bolden. Yesterday's offering was lovely! You can find it on our YOUTUBE channel, along with all previous services. And speaking of windows . . .
WEEKLY PUZZLE
This week we feature our Tree of Life window. You will find the puzzle by clicking    HERE   . You can choose your background color, number of puzzle pieces, and even set it to display just the edge pieces.

This memorial window to Frances E. Lee was given by her family, in 1904. This Tiffany window depicts the Tree of Life, symbolizing eternal life, growing out of a rock, symbolizing Christ. This window was restored in 2002 by Judith Woodward in memory of Gertrude Pollard.

SURVEY RESULTS
Thanks to all who took the time to fill out the survey online. (We are still receiving paper copies from those for whom we did not have an e-mail address.)
It is clear that we should continue to stream a service at 10am each Sunday, though about 20% of respondents are in favor of some form of in-person worship in our building.
Vestry and I will have a special meeting Monday night, for the purpose of discussing these results and to determine a target date to begin limited in-person worship.
We will send a letter through the mail once we have a date, along with specific instructions for how you can prepare to attend if you so choose.

GREAT GROOMING OF THE GROUNDS
This Saturday morning (June 13), starting at 9am, we will gather at a safe distance from one another to spruce up the grounds around the church.
Please bring your own tools for weeding, trimming, raking, pruning, and whatever else you think should be done. (For example, hauling this giant pile of mulch!) We appreciate any time you can give toward this beautification, and it will be a delight to see your beautiful faces!

NOTE: Please plan to bring your own food and beverages. We will have bathrooms available, but the rest of the church building will be off limits.
BIRTHDAYS and ANNIVERSARIES
This week's birthdays include, David Ehmer (6/13), Wenday Little (6/15), and Betty Jarvis (6/17).
On June 12th, Larry and Barb Muschkat will celebrate their anniversary, and on June 16th, Dave and Jackie Regula will celebrate theirs.
Keep all these folks in your thoughts, and let them know you're thinking of them.
PRAYERS REQUESTED
Please keep these friends and parishioners in your prayers.
Diana Lawver, David Wigginton, Keith Rowland, Joyce Vitale, Pom Chakkaphak, Jenny Gump, Dr. Bob Ripich, Brian Dorosch, Dr. Don Zimmerman, Rachel Sanchez, Anne Smith, and Dave Cottrill.
And do call the office if there's anyone you'd like to have added.
A COUPLE MORE THINGS
For those who have asked, our food pantry is doing fine. Early on (as in, March), we had multiple people each day asking for food. But now, it is rare if anyone stops by. Not sure why that is, but I'm hopeful it means they're now able to buy food for their families.

Our friend and parishioner, Cathy Tilley has agreed to do the necessary deep cleaning of our building prior to opening the doors, and we are so very grateful to her for that contribution to the parish.

Thank you to all who have been able to keep up with your pledges. This really helps us keep up with expenses, which will have us in better financial health when we do reopen. (And, remember, you can contribute securely online on the front page of our WEBSITE , in the upper right-hand corner.)

Please know that you are in my prayers, and I look forward to the day when we can gather back together and have face-to-face talks after uplifting worship services. As a reminder, you can find all past sermons at this LINK .

Please be in touch if there is any way I can be helpful.

Fr. George
