Dear Friends of St. Timothy's:

Sending along a few pieces of information, as I do on Thursdays.
WORSHIP
We currently offer five services each week--four are streamed online, and one is in person, for those who feel comfortable gathering together.

Sunday   :
8am we will open the doors for Morning Prayer, Rite I. We have 22 "booths" for seating, and members of a household can sit together. We can accommodate somewhere between 22 and 44 persons at this service. By way of a reminder, everyone  must  wear a mask, so please bring your own if possible--we will have a limited supply available if you forget. Everyone  must  enter through the parking lot doors, and provide contact information (if we don't already have it).

10am, we will stream Morning Prayer, Rite II. (This service will only be available online, due to restrictions against singing together.) Service outline   HERE , and hymns   HERE .

Tuesday   and   Thursday   : We will continue to stream The Great Litany and sung Compline at 7pm, on Facebook and at our website.

Wednesday   : at 12:30pm, we feature one of our lovely stained-glass windows with prayers, and musical accompaniment by Choirmaster Andrew Bolden. (Only on our  Facebook   page.)

More information on all our services can be found at the   Calendar   page of our Website.
WEEKLY PUZZLE
This week's puzzle features our Music Window. You will find the puzzle by clicking   HERE . You can choose your background color, number of puzzle pieces, and even set it to display just the edge pieces. Plus, you get a very affirming crowd reaction once you have completed it!

Why is this particular window in our Chapel?
When our current building was completed in 1898, the organ loft was located in the southeast corner of the sanctuary (the original pipes remain, but are no longer in use). In 1909, the organ was moved behind the pulpit, and this space became the Baptistry, featuring our new font. In 1952, the font was moved to its current location, and the organ loft, turned Baptistry, became the Chapel of the Resurrection, dedicated "in honor of those who served and are serving in the Armed Forces from this parish." So, that's why our chapel has a window depicting musical instruments.
BIRTHDAYS and ANNIVERSARIES
Lots of birthdays this week! Norma Jean Hupp and Ruth Lash (7/11), Lawrence Hann (7/12), Matt Susor (7/13), and Dave Coltrin and Bryan Ehmer (7/16).
On Sunday (7/12), Ken and Jeannine Jarvis will celebrate their anniversary.
Be sure to send good thoughts and good wishes to all who celebrate this week
PRAYERS REQUESTED
Please keep these friends and parishioners in your prayers.
David Wigginton, Keith Rowland, Joyce Vitale, Jenny Gump, Brian Dorosch, Don Zimmerman, Rachel Sanchez, Anne Smith, Carrie Morrison, Bob Meyer, Chris Lane, and Chelsey Levin.
And do call the office if there's anyone you'd like to have added.
HELPFUL VIDEO
If you are wondering or questioning why we have such very strict rules about gathering indoors, you may find this short video worth your time. (It's about 17 minutes.) I can give you a spoiler alert: It's all about the aerosols.
I know these times are difficult and frustrating. And I know how much we all miss seeing each other on a regular basis. I hope you are keeping your spirits up, and if there is any way I can be helpful, please don't hesitate to be in touch.

Sending you peace.

Fr. George
