There are no classes on Monday, Feb 16th and Tuesday, Feb 17th.

The district will be closed on Monday, February 16th in observance of President's Day and on Tuesday, February 17th in observance of the Lunar New Year.

District staff will have an In-Service day on Tuesday. We will resume on Wednesday with an A Day Block Rotation.

This will be a Homework Free weekend. Students are not expected to complete homework and long-term assignments during these periods. Further, no major assignments/assessments are due on the day we return to school.

Course Registration for 2026-2027

Course Selection is now OPEN!

Select your courses before Monday, 2/23, in the PowerSchool Parent or Student Portal.

To kick off the process, school counselors will be visiting English classrooms during the week of February 9–13 to review scheduling procedures. Once students have selected their courses through the Parent Portal, they will be invited to meet with their school counselor to review selections.

Be sure to check out the Program of Studies to see updated course listings and Career Concentrations. Additional resources can be found on the Scheduling and Course Registration page on the website.

Career Concentrations: Start Building Your Future Now

What if your high school courses could directly connect to your future career goals?

BRHS students can do exactly that through our Career Concentrations pathway programs — focused course sequences designed to turn interests into direction. Students explore passion areas while gaining real-world skills that align with college majors and career pathways.

Why enroll?

  • Priority course selection within your pathway
  • Deeper, career-connected learning experiences
  • Portfolio and capstone opportunities
  • Clear alignment to post-secondary goals

Enrollment is now open in PowerSchool. We encourage students to sign up early and begin shaping a high school experience that reflects their interests and aspirations.

Dual Enrollment: Stand Out from the Crowd

Thinking about college already? Why wait. Our Dual Enrollment courses let students earn college credit while learning right here at the high school—taught by our teachers and aligned with partner universities across New Jersey. It’s a chance to challenge yourself, strengthen your transcript, and experience college-level expectations in a supportive environment.

Why consider Dual Enrollment?

• Earn college credits now

• Save on future tuition costs

• Build confidence for college academics

• Stand out in the admissions process

Course selection season is here. We encourage students and families to talk with counselors and consider whether this exciting option belongs in your academic plan. Dual Enrollment may be the perfect fit.

AP Potential: You've Got It

Think you have what it takes? I'm sure you do.

Hundreds of AP potential letters were generated this week and sent to students at BRHS. AP Potential is generated from a students' participation in the PSAT, which was administered at BRHS in October. It simply uses statistical data to predict a student's success on an AP exam based on their PSAT scores.

Here's one thing we know: BRHS students excel. Our AP exam passing rate is 93%, and the majority of students participate in our AP program. This sets us apart from thousands of schools around the country and gives BRHS students a leg up, not only in college admissions, but in college success.

Make sure you consider it when you're enrolling or selecting your courses for next year!

Her passion turned into a profession for new teacher Madison Trevaskiss at BRHS

Madison Trevaskiss figured she could share her hobbies with students.

“I always liked to cook, sew, and design. I had my own sewing machine,” Ms. Trevaskiss explained. “These were hobbies of mine.”

While she had known that teaching could be her profession one day, she thought she might instruct English, not instruct students how to sew and cook.

BRHS students honored with prestigious Scholastic Art Awards

Nine Bridgewater-Raritan High School art students earned 20 honors in the elite 2026 Scholastic Art Awards program.

According to Sarah Nasson, Bridgewater-Raritan High School's Art Teacher and Advisor to the National Art Honor Society, the Scholastic Art Awards are the nation's longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens, celebrating original student work across visual art, writing, and media arts. Each year, nearly 2,000 students submit artwork to the South Jersey region alone.
