The Parks, Arts, Recreation, & Cultural Commission invites residents to create and submit art illustrating how they interpret and experience life in Los Altos. Selected pieces will be displayed in an upcoming exhibition at the Los Altos Community Center. The submission deadline is Thursday, September 5.

Free Self-Serve Compost Station Available to Residents

The self-serve compost station returns for a third and final time this year, from Wednesday, September 11-Thursday, September 19, at the Los Altos Community Center parking lot. During this time, the station will be open 24/7. Residents must bring containers and gloves; shovels will be provided.

You're Invited: Mid-Autumn Festival at History Museum

The Los Altos Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon (or Mooncake) Festival, will be held at the History Museum on Sunday, September 15, from 1-4:30 PM. The event will feature Chinese cultural performances, activities, and traditional snacks. Admission fees apply.
