Homework Free Weekend

The building will be closed and there will be no classes on Thursday and Friday, November 6th and 7th.

As per our long weekend homework policy, students will not be assigned homework during a 4-day break. These breaks are intended to be a time that is free from schoolwork for students and staff. Students will not be expected to complete homework and long-term assignments during these periods. Further, no major assignments/assessments are to be due the day following any scheduled school closing.

New Attendance Reporting Procedure

Beginning Monday, November 10, BRHS will implement a new system for reporting student attendance.

Parents and guardians should now report all absences, tardies, and early dismissals through the Attendance Monitor feature in the PowerSchool Parent Portal (website version only; not available on the PS app).

Please review the detailed instructions provided in the linked letter from the District Technology Department to ensure a smooth transition to this updated process.

NJSLA Testing Next Week

All students who are testing on Monday should have received an email from the counseling office. The email states the code for the test and then the number of the room. For example, "GEO01-609" means the student should report to Room 609.

This fall, students across New Jersey will participate in a mandatory field test for the updated state assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. Testing will take place on November 10th, 12th, and 13th. Please read the following letter for more details: https://5il.co/3riky
