August Evening Prayer

Demands on our attention are endless. But whether the demands are due to life responsibilities, a night out with friends, a get together with family, or another hour scrolling social media we can still feel strained. God has a word for you in your joy and in your need.

We will rest in silence, give our attention to the one who always attends to us, listen with our hearts for God's voice, and share with God what is on our hearts and minds.

Please join us tonight, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. for evening prayer.

10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

After a brief worship service, spend some time helping others in our community.

We encourage everyone to bring an item for Daily Bread.

Remember to wear your yellow God's Work Our Hands or blue Live Generously shirt!

Church Council Installation this Sunday

At this Sunday's assembly, Prince of Peace's new church council will be installed. Please join us in surrounding them in prayer on Sunday morning and in your daily prayers:

We thank you, Lord God, for brave and believing people who share your message in this place. We praise you for the gift of your Holy Spirit, who works in them in their ministry of congregational leadership. Grant them joy and a spirit of bold trust that their work may stir up each of us to a life of fruitful service; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sanctuary Choir & Handbell Choir

No experience required. Everyone is welcome!

Have you ever wanted to sing in a choir or try your hand at handbells? Now is the perfect time!

Whether you have years of muscial experience or have never sung or played an instrument before, there is a place for you.

Rehearsals will be on Wednesday Evenings - Handbells at 6:30 p.m. and Sanctuary Choir at 7:30 p.m. starting September 9.
