Report Cards

Q3 Report Cards are published and available in Parent Portal.

Bring Your Child to Work Day

Bring Your Child to Work Day will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Students who participate must follow the district’s attendance guidelines for the absence to be excused.

To have this day marked as an excused absence, families must complete the two-step process:

  1. Report the Absence – Enter the absence in PowerSchool before the start of the school day (prior to 7:20 AM) as you would for any other foreseeable absence. Designate the absence as “Take Your Child to Work Day” as the reason.
  2. Submit Documentation – Provide official written documentation from your employer where your child visited. This documentation must be submitted to the Attendance Office no later than one school day following the absence.

Absences without supporting documentation will be marked as unexcused in accordance with the BRHS Attendance Policy.

Around Campus

Crosswalks for Safety!

Students are reminded that when leaving BRHS by foot and crossing Garretson Road, the crosswalks must be used at all times. Vehicles must yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk in the state of NJ (39:4-36), but do not have to stop for pedestrians anywhere else.

There are two crosswalks to the YMCA & tennis court parking lots. These two crosswalks are the only areas pedestrians/students should cross.

Clubs and Organizations

Joining a club or organization allows students to explore different areas of interest that wouldn't really be taught in their classes. It also provides students with an opportunity to learn more about themselves and find out what they’re good at, whether that’s multitasking, staying organized, generating ideas, or serving others.

Be sure to check the Morning Announcements or the Club Meeting Calendar on the website to see what opportunities you can explore.

CSA BRHS Staff Summer Enrichment Courses

The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Council of Schools Association (CSA) will once again offer athletic and enrichment programs for students in grades K-12 this summer. Due to referendum construction, the locations of camps are limited to BRHS, BRMS and Van Holten. Students are welcome to attend camp at any school as long as the camp accepts their grade level. Take a look at all of the programs at  CSA Summer Programs, in our camp flyer or by week.

The CSA is offering summer enrichment programs taught by our BRHS Teachers. The following one-week summer courses are designed to directly help students with math class next year or to prepare for standardized tests. Follow the link for the full course selection or to register: csasummercamps.recdesk.com.

See the flyers for more details and dates.
