Two Sundays ago was Giving Sunday at Prince of Peace. The opportunity to share your pledge with your church is still available.

November Evening Prayer

From our Sunday gathering around word and sacrament we are sent by God to continue our worship each day through lives of service.

St. Paul's guidance to "pray without ceasing...for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thess. 5:17-18) suggests that the Christian life is prayer: openness to the presence of God, recognition that all of life is in Christ, and engagement and care for the whole creation. Daily prayer is a gift that nourishes growth toward living all of daily life in prayer.

Won't you join us for a time of midweek grounding and nourishment? All are welcome.

Evening Prayer (Vespers) begins at 5:30 p.m.

PoP Annual Craft Fair

Our annual Craft Fair will be on Saturday, November 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

To make it a success we need donations of food, bakery items, crafts, gently used Christmas items, used jewelry and YOUR help the day of the fair.

Please sign up on the poster board in the narthex or click below to sign up for donations and also for a time you can work a 2 hour (or longer) shift at one of the booths. Use either one to sign up!

If you can’t sign up on-line or in person you can call Rene in the church office and she will sign you up.

We will be setting up the craft section on Friday, November 6 at 10:00 a.m. so if you can help with that, please let Marci Sharp know. (marcisharp703@gmail.com)

Brookfield Food Pantry

Monthly Meal Kits

The PoP Caring Committee has some exciting news to share! The meal kits we provided the Brookfield Food Pantry in September during God's Work, Our Hands Sunday were a huge success and they are hoping we can continue to provide them with these types of pre-packaged meal kits each month.
