Bible Study

Bible study on the Book of Matthew will continue this Sunday, after our worship service.

Scoop & Stroll

Join us each month as we visit a different local ice cream stand for a time of sweet treats and even sweeter fellowship! Bring your friends and family for a fun, casual evening of connection and community. All are welcome.

On May 21st we will be meeting at Sweet Scoops in Brookfield at 6:30 p.m.

Vespers Service

Life’s preoccupations are relentless in pursuing our total attention.

But in every circumstance, God’s presence is assured and is nearer to us than our own breath. Amidst the static, in silence, God’s voice emerges, calming our hearts, satisfying our longing. So, come away and rest a while with Evening Prayer and be reminded that the only thing that can name you is God’s love.

WELCA Zoom Bible Study

There will be a WELCA Zoom Bible Study on Tuesday, May 19 at 10:00 a.m.

Book Club Update

The PoP Book Club will meet on Tuesday, May 26, at 1:00 p.m. in the church office reception area. (We will meet the last Tuesday of the month.)

We plan to meet for one hour, but you are free to come and go as your schedule demands. All are welcome. Reading our choice is not required.

Our book choice for May is Horse by Geraldine Brooks. Geraldine Brooks is a Pulitzer Price author. This novel is a work of imagination, but most

of the details regarding Lexington’s brilliant racing career and years as a stud are true. Enjoy the relationships through time with a painter and Smithsonian connection. We chose this book for the horse racing in May. Hope you were able to see the spectacular Kentucky Derby Race.

Communion can be received around the altar.
The offering plate will be passed during the anthem. Please help the ushers by passing the plate down your row.
