Looking for Worship Assistants

Have you ever thought about being a communion assistant, communion bread baker, lector, greeter, or usher?  

We are always looking for more people to participate in these ministries and are inviting everyone to consider if you might be called to help lead worship in one of these ways.

In the Key of Faith:

Organ Fundraising Update

We are thrilled to share that our In the Key of Faith organ fundraising campaign is making wonderful progress! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have now raised $183,000 toward our goal of $250,000. We are truly grateful for every gift that is helping bring this vision to life.

Exciting news: the organ is currently under construction in Europe! Soon, we will begin the intricate and inspiring process of voicing the instrument to ensure it fills our sanctuary with beautiful sound. Preparations are also underway to build a custom platform, allowing the organ to be movable within the sanctuary for maximum flexibility and use.

Fundraising efforts continue as we work toward our final goal.

Upcoming opportunities to give include:

• Noisy Offering Sunday – May 25th: Bring your spare change and make a joyful noise!
• The Giving Tree: Choose a gift level and help us leaf out our tree with generosity.
• General Giving: Every contribution—large or small—moves us closer to completing this incredible project.

Art Show May 8

Hankering for a night of culture? How about a night of culture that supports one of the communities central to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church’s mission?

5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8 is the annual Prince of Peace Preschool Art Show.

Enjoy the student’s art, support the teachers, and enjoy an opportunity to offer your encouragement for this vital ministry. 

May 18 is Confirmation Sunday at Prince of Peace

Prince of Peace is thrilled to bear witness to and support seven teenagers who affirm their faith May 18^th through the Rite of Confirmation. Won’t you plan to be on hand to support our youth as they mark this important milestone in the faith pilgrimage?
