Dear All:

Just wanted to say a couple of things by way of a weekly update . . .
ONLINE SERVICES
We've increased our internet speed (which has helped a lot), and are heading into our second Sunday using a trial app called Boxcast, which allows for a horizontal image, as well as allowing us to simultaneously stream to our Facebook page and our website. If this week goes as well as last Sunday, I am going to ask Vestry at our next virtual meeting about funding a year of using Boxcast. (Vestry has been meeting online using zoom the past two months.)

You can find the materials for this Sunday's service HERE, including pdf's of the hymns and worship outline. I hope you can join us online for Morning Prayer Sundays at 10am.
A NEW DEAN
By way of a brief explanation, our Diocese is divided up into 8 Mission Areas. We are in the Central East Mission Area, which mostly Stark County. Our Dean, the Rev. Kip Colgrove has retired from his parishes in Salem and Alliance, and the Bishop has appointed me Dean of the Mission Area. My role at St. Timothy's won't change as a result, but I will let you
THANK YOU
To all those who have been able to keep up with your pledges and contributions, thank you so very much! I know the times are uncertain for all of us, and it is a measure of your faith and commitment to St. Tim's that we can keep things going. Don't forget, you can make secure contributions at our website on the front page where it says "Donate."

If you're inclined to contribute toward the food pantry, we can always use more peanut butter, canned meats, and cereals.
PRAYERS REQUESTED
Please keep these folks in your prayers.
Will Miller, Fr. Erv, Diana Lawver, Ashley and Sawyer Locy, David Wigginton, Keith Rowland, Joyce Vitale, Hondo Sunquist, Pom Chakkaphak, Dick Croasdaile, and Kaylee Dickerhoof.
And do call the office if there's anyone you'd like to have added.
THE DAYS AHEAD
Obviously, we don't know how things will develop in the coming weeks. Even as the state authorities begin to loosen restrictions, as the church, we need to be extra cautious. Many of those who would love to be the first in the door are also the very ones potentially most at risk from this virus. Vestry and I will continue to discuss how best to slowly gather back together, with the emphasis on slowly. Your health and well being are our first concern.

Speaking of which, if you need anything, please don't hesitate to call the church office. We have folks who have offered to shop and make deliveries and there's still plenty of food in the pantry. (All help we provide is completely confidential and anonymous.)

If there is any way I can be helpful to you or your family, please give me a call, or text, or e-mail.
These are trying times for everyone, but the God of resurrection is with us; we are not alone.

Love and Blessings,

Fr. George
