It just keeps getting better.
Grey Yadley and his Steering Committee continue to knock it out of the park with the 41st Annual Federal Securities Institute. In addition to SEC Chairman Mark Uyeda, we have now added Samuel Waldon, SEC Chief Division of Enforcement Counsel, and David Fredrickson (nearly 30 years at the SEC Division of Corporation Finance and the Office of the General Counsel) to the program. And to top it off, you get to hang out with them at the reception on at OysterCatchers on Monday night AND you get 15.0 general CLE credits, including 2.0 ethics, 1.5 professionalism, and 0.5 technology together with 15.0 Business Litigation and Civil Trial Certification credits. You are not going to find a better deal anywhere else so hurry up and sign up, space is going fast!
And right after that, we have our Spring Retreat to Montreal and Quebec City. What an extraordinary combination that presents! The cosmopolitan and sophisticated nature of Montreal with its history and museums galore and currently boasting two of the best restaurants in Canada (Toque’ and the always popular Joe Beef) contrasted against the laid back, quiet and relaxed atmosphere of Quebec City. But of course, we have to “work” so we are taking a trip to Ottawa to meet with government officials in between the two. And we will partake in the Canadian pastime of hockey in between those two.
Just a word of warning however, as we are advised that President Roland Sanchez-Medina and Executive Director Josh Doyle are now coming along to make sure we don’t get out of line so people are expected to be on their best behavior. But enough of my chatter, here’s some pictures to show you what we will be doing. It’s going to be a great trip, come join us!
