The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office offers no-cost, voluntary Combat Auto-Theft (C.A.T.) program registry for residents and businesses. Once registered, a numbered decal is received for display allowing gives law enforcement officers to investigate during certain hours to determine if the vehicle has been stolen. Responding to recent trailer thefts, registering trailers to the C.A.T program was added. The Guardian ad Litem Foundation, 20th Judicial Circuit, has opened registration for its 4th annual March Madness Bracket Challenge. Volunteers Needed- Our program is currently accepting volunteers to mentor students with our Scholarship Program. Mentors are academic guides ensuring the students does well in school, meets college requirements and keeps the student focused on being accepted to a Florida college. The Blue Butterfly Family Grief Center is a program of Tidewell Hospice with a mission for serving grieving children and families in Charlotte, Sarasota, Manatee and Desoto counties.
