Key Dakota County Votes this Week
The Dakota County Board takes up several key items today, as they prepare for upcoming 2025 budget decisions.

• Library Strategic Plan Process and Timeline. Five of the County library branches are coming due for renovations and updates in the coming decade. First in line is Wentworth Library in West St. Paul.
• Proclamation of National Nurses Week In Dakota County. The County will honor nurses starting May 6th. The County's 60 nurses and other staff make up an award-winning Public Health Department that was named the nation's best local health department by the National Association of City and County Health Organizations a few years ago.
