Wage Theft Legislation 2019 and Summaries
Effective July 1, 2019, employers are subject to new mandates regarding wage theft.
Legislation was passed in May 2019 that will invest $3.1 million in new funding over the next two years in the Department of Labor and Industry's (DLI's) enforcement of the state’s wage and hour laws. The new
Minnesota Wage Theft law
will create additional protections for workers, including adding criminal penalties for employers who commit wage theft.

connects people to communities by getting you where you need to go using public and private transportation services — like MetroTransit, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, and DARTS — in Dakota County.

MVTA Connect
allows anyone to schedule a trip through a smartphone app or companion website and go anywhere within the boundaries of the south metro city of Savage. Riders can also book trips to and from Burnsville Center, the Burnsville Walmart, or the Burnsville Transit Station. This is great news for Dakota County and our businesses and residents. We need to have more of these innovative services to move people and jobs to Dakota County.
