Herself Health in Eagan is Open for Business!
Herself Health in Eagan opened their fifth location in Minnesota with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, January 26th.
The event was overflowing! Founder and CEO Kristen Helton spoke at the event and was accompanied by Eagan City Council Member Mike Supina, Beth Breidel from the St. Paul Chamber and Jon Althoff from your DCR Chamber. Representatives from Congresswoman Angie Craig's and Senator Amy Klobuchar's offices were also in attendance.

Advocacy and Issues Forum Held
Last Friday
The largest A&I of the past year was held Friday and moderated by political expert and WCCO Radio regular Blois Olson of Fluence Media. Blois gave his take on the current legislative session and the issues currently impacted by the stalemate over 'quorum.' The 50 attendees asked Blois, Senator Zach Duckworth, and Representative Jon Koznick questions about taxation, data centers, reinsurance, and MN mandates such as the Earned Sick and Safe Time.
Your DCR Chamber will continue to update Membership with how our DCR delegation is voting on key issues that impact the business community.

Mendota Heights Installs New Fire Chief
The Mendota Heights City Council affirmed Dan Johnson as the city's seventh fire chief after the retirement of former chief Dave Dreelan.
A 9-year veteran of the department, Chief Johnson served as a firefighter, squad captain and assistant training officer, before becoming the department's training officer in July of 2023.
Congratulations, Chief Johnson and thank you for your commitment to Mendota Heights and the broader community.

Economic Development Association of MN Conference Awards
City of Rosemount staff collected some great hardware this week at the Economic Development Association of MN (EDAM) winter conference.
Eric Van Oss was named Emerging Professional of the Year. Congratulations, Eric!
Rosemount was also recognized with the Project of the Year award for their work on the
Meta campus.
