Many thanks to everyone who made this past weekend so special. What a wonderful time experiencing the love and awe of our children at the 9:00 am Children's Chapel. And what fun we had decorating ornaments for the tree! Here are a few highlights.

Come prepared for our monthly Hymn Sing this Sunday, December 18th at 10:00 am. We will be singing Advent and Christmas songs so come prepared to suggest your favorite ones!

Reminder to please deliver all gifts wrapped with a tag that has a gift description and the recipient's name to the Parish Hall no later than Sunday, December 18th!

Our Advent Lunch series will continue this Thursday, December 15th at 11:30 am. The Advent Reflection series by Jan Richardson will cover a reflection for Week 3 titled, What We Get To Keep. We will gather together to share communion, lunch and a guided discussion on what we are learning.

Join us on Sunday, December 18th at 7:00 pm for a service of Lessons and Carols.

Help us decorate the church with a poinsettia in honor or in memory of the people who hold a special place in your life. Orders are due no later than December 19th. Poinsettias are $20 each. Order forms are in the Narthex and may be placed in Cindy's mailbox outside of the church office once completed or you can click here for the form and bring it to the church.

In case you missed the announcement last week, Bishop Stevenson appointed the Rt. Rev’d Gayle Elizabeth Harris as Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Virginia. Bishop Harris is currently Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Massachusetts. Check out the full announcement here.
