- If you are looking for something fun to do this
Saturday, May 18th
, please consider attending the annual benefit concert for Goochland CASA featuring the Righteous Outlaws at the Cub Adventure Camp on Maidens Road. The doors open at 6 pm and the band will start at 7:30. There will be food trucks, beer and wine and your $25 ticket includes one free drink. We will have an array of fabulous raffle baskets available and the evening promises to be great fun, indoors, for a very worthy cause! Please let Kate Sarfaty or Sheila Hyer know if you would like tickets or they may be purchased at the door.
BISHOP VISIT IN SEPTEMBER
- The Rt. Rev. Susan Goff, Bishop Suffragan and Ecclesiastical Authority for the Episcopal Diocese of VA, will be visiting Grace and conducting Sunday Services on
September 8, 2019 at 10 am.
Scheduling for the Bishop now allows her or one of her representatives to visit Grace every other year. This is important to note since the Bishop is the only one who can Confirm or Receive an individual into the Episcopal faith. If you desire to be Baptized, Confirmed or Received on September 8, please let Emily know by
so she can help prepare you for this special occasion.
ROAD CLEAN UP
- The Men's Group will come together on
to help VDOT clean up our community starting at
522 from Route 6 to Fairground Road and up Fairground Road all the way to Maidens Road
. Current plans are to meet at church for some caffeine fuel at 7:00 am. If you have a VDOT fluorescent vest, please bring it. Tick protection is suggested! Poison ivy will also most likely be encountered. Bring your “pick-up” implements, gloves, sunscreen, insect repellent and water to stay hydrated.
If three or more show up, the work should only take two to three hours. If you have the time, we plan on meeting for lunch after the cleanup.
- We will start on
our practice of one worship service at 10 am during the summer months.
