Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Lent is a season of preparation; a time to prepare for the great festival of Easter. Many people take on disciplines during Lent as an embodiment and reminder of that preparation. In this time leading up to Ash Wednesday, take a moment to think and pray of how you want to use the time of Lent to renew your relationship with God in Jesus Christ.

We invite you to gather online for Grace's Ash Wednesday Service next Wednesday, February 17th at Noon on Facebook Live.

Join us as we prepare our hearts and souls for this important time in the life of our church.

Join Emily each Thursday in Lent as we build a meaningful Lenten practice that will help us embody Christ's love in our daily lives. Following our Lenten devotional that was sent out the congregation, we will work together to create practices that illumine this season of reflection, repentance, and redemption.

Lent is not a passive season. It is an embodied season. That means we are invited to be actively involved in our preparation for Holy Week and the promises it holds. As Bishop Curry stated, "The journey through Lent into Easter is a journey with Jesus. We are baptized into his life, self-giving, and death; then, we rise in hope to life transformed."

Let us be transformed together.

No preparation is needed. We will open with an introduction to the study on Thursday, February 18th at 10am. All are welcome.
