The holidays can be a time of lots of excitement and bustling around, but the focus on family and celebration an also bring up grief and overwhelm. This service will make space for some quiet and rest amidst the complexity of the holiday season.

Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

A big Thank you to all of you for helping plan and coming for the Thanksgiving Service at the Gurudwara Sahib. It was a beautiful service and we are so happy that so many participated. We hope to continue building relations with our brothers and sisters in the community.

Giving Tree Update

Hello UU congregation!

Thank you for being part of the giving tree!!

Please note that I need everyone to make sure that they fill out the tag that stays ON THE TREE - THE SMALLER PART - so that I can track people if there are missing presents. There are 3 that were taken yesterday that were not filled out. If you are the person who took a tag and didn't fill out the smaller piece that STAYS ON THE TREE - please make sure to fill it out next week.

Special Fundraising Coffee Hour

Sunday, Dec 10

During the Youth Group babysitting event on Dec 9, the kids will be baking some goodies. We will be providing these treats and more at a special fundraising coffee hour on Sunday, Dec 10. All proceeds will be donated to the Westborough Food Bank. If you would like to donate any baked goods for sale at this coffee hour, please contact Colleen at [email protected].

Special thanks to one of our youngest friends for this wonderful idea!

The giving tree 2023 is back! Help us provide gifts for families in need this holiday season.

The tags will be on the Christmas tree starting Sunday, November 19.

All gifts must be wrapped and at the church in the coffee hour room by Sunday, December 10 at 10:30 AM. Thank you for your support during this holiday season!

SMOC Food and

Clothing Drives

As of December, SMOC food and clothing donations may be dropped off in the box in the Sanctuary every Sunday. We will no longer be collecting monthly on Thursday afternoons. Bologna can be stored in the upstairs refrigerator in the parlor.

Below are the upcoming Sundays before the monthly Friday delivery, so you are sure to bring in your donations by that Sunday:
