Board Update on Congregational Justice Work
We recently met with a UUA consultant who is going to be working with UUCSW over the next few months. Our goal is to get your input about the justice issues that matter most to you, and use that to build a more comprehensive justice program for UUCSW. We’re hoping to present that plan at our annual meeting, assuming we've completed this collective process by then. Our next meeting with the consultant is mid-February, so please check your weekly updates for ways to participate as the plan develops.

As always, if you would like to raise a concern about the work of the congregation, please email board@uucsw.org. That will go to all members of the Board, including Rev. Laurel. The Racial Justice Committee email is rjc@uucsw.org, if you would like to reach them directly.

We ask that you not raise these concerns or opinions during the Sunday candles. We value having space to share our personal joys and sorrows, and it is not a forum that allows for open dialogue. Justice issues are of profound importance and we want to engage them thoughtfully and effectively.
