Sunday Service
“Celebration Sunday: Better Together”
March 20th at 10:30 am

led by Rev. Laurel Gray

This Sunday marks the kick off for our annual pledge campaign, a season for gathering our collective resources to fund the vision of this community. As we’ve seen so clearly these last two years, we are better together than we are on our own. We’ll reflect on how ministry is an act of partnership.

This service will be held in our sanctuary and on Zoom.

Circle RE News
*Please see calendar on the right for RE dates and locations!*

Greetings all,

Drop off for morning RE will be in the Hall at UCMH and First Parish, and in the Chapel at UUCSW, not in the classrooms this year!
You can pick up your child(ren) from the classrooms when the program ends.

Please note the slightly earlier start time for RE - we'd love to have everyone gathered and to begin our program by 10:15, and we will extend the program 15 minutes into Coffee Hour, giving us 90 minutes of time for programming and exploration.

Parents, when RE is not at your home church, you are always welcome to worship at the visiting congregation, or, if you're comfortable, drop off your child and go to worship at your home congregation, and pick them up after. Children may not be dropped off and left until a registration form has been completed for them.

Registration
We are asking all families to fill out a registration form for their child(ren) who are in the RE program (including Youth Group) this year. We will have forms available every Circle RE morning, so please give yourself an extra 5 minutes to fill one out before service. You can also access the form to download or print on our website: https://uuspiritualexploration.edublogs.org/registration/

New Office Administrator

We are very excited to introduce our new Office Administrator, Colleen Munson! She comes with a wealth of experience in church administration and a generosity of spirit that makes her a wonderful teammate. We are delighted to have her as the newest member of our UUCSW staff team!

Colleen can be reached at both office@uucsw.org and colleen.munson@uucsw.org

Colleen has been an active member of the First Unitarian Church of Worcester since 2007. She has worked for several years in church administration, and currently also works at St. Michael’s on-the-Heights Episcopal Church in Worcester. She is looking forward to combining her professional and spiritual life by bringing her administrative skills into a UUA congregation!

Colleen lives in Worcester and is the proud mom of three young men who are 21, 18, and 17; and is happy to have another 18-year-old young man living in their home, as well. Her biggest social justice passion is disability rights, particularly autism awareness. She taught yoga for 11 years and specialized in teaching classes for people with disabilities. Colleen has been a choir girl most of her life and enjoys all kinds of music. She’s also a huge baseball fan!

Please welcome Colleen next time you see her!
