Weekly Update - February 18th, 2021
Sunday Service: "Whose History?"
led by Rev. Laurel Gray
February 21st at 10:30 am
As we think about beloved community this month, we’ll turn our gaze to the past. Stories about who “we” are and who mattered in history shape our understanding of our country and community. But who’s missing? What would radical hospitality mean for the way we tell history?

Origins of Racism in the U.S.
Sunday, February 21st
from noon to 2:00 pm

Register today and join other UUCSW members virtually as we use an episode from the podcast Seeing White produced by Scene on Radio to develop a common understanding of how race and racism came to be in the United States. It's also a chance to hear how others at UUCSW are understanding race-related issues.

The event will be facilitated by an external volunteer. You can eat your lunch while the audio plays or while you read the transcript; then, through small group discussion and large group sharing, we’ll engage with what we’ve learned.

Register at signupgenius.com and session materials and the Zoom link will be sent to you before Sunday. Hope to see you there!
