Greetings Beloved Circle Community,
As we wrap up the church year and start on our summer plans, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all. Coming on mid-year at First Parish and UUCSW, and dealing with all the uncertainty of Covid and being/not being in buildings, made for a challenging spring. But despite the ongoing flux we found ourselves in this spring, your collective enthusiasm and support for youth programming made everything easier. I am so appreciative of all the folks who helped out, offered support and advice, and helped me integrate into two new communities as we found our way back into our churches and in-person programming. And a big thanks to the UCMH folks who were extra-stretched this year for volunteers - I am blessed to be surrounded by such amazing communities.
I am looking forward to this summer and the opportunity to do some concrete planning and have programming structures and plans in place for next year. Together we can - and will! - dream up many wonderful opportunities for our children to explore the world and themselves in. I'm excited for all the potential our joint Circle Community holds!
May this summer be restorative for those of you able to take time away from school and work - I look forward to being in touch with volunteers and families throughout the summer and fall as we gather our forces and get ready for another fantastic year of education and spiritual exploration.
