Activate Your Faith Through Service to the Hungry

Since 1984, Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry has sought to Feed the Hungry, Empower the Weak, and Nourish the Soul of the food Insecure in New Milford.

Prince of Peace has been an active supporter of this ministry for many years and continues to invite disciples into this meaningful work. Now is a great time to become a part of this ministry. Those interested in participating may sign-up on the form in the narthex or contact Steve Davies for more information (sdavies1400@gmail.com).

Baptism at Prince of Peace

In the church, we love to have a reason for a BIG celebration. And lucky for us, we have a lot of reasons to celebrate! Every Sunday is its own celebration of Christ’s resurrection, but baptisms and festival days give us other occasions too.

If you are interested in baptism for yourself, for your child, or desire to affirm your faith, please contact Rev. Michael Anderson (pastor@princeofpeacebrookfield.org) to begin a conversation about this important sacrament of the church, sign of the Holy Spirit, and marker of belonging in faith community.

Art Show May 8

Hankering for a night of culture? How about a night of culture that supports one of the communities central to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church’s mission?

5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8 is the annual Prince of Peace Preschool Art Show.

Enjoy the student’s art, support the teachers, and enjoy an opportunity to offer your encouragement for this vital ministry.

May 18 is Confirmation Sunday at Prince of Peace

Dear friends, we give thanks for the gift of baptism and for these young people, one with us in the body of Christ, who are making public affirmation of their baptism. (ELW LE, pg. 596)

Prince of Peace is thrilled to bear witness to and support seven teenagers who affirm their faith May 18th through the Rite of Confirmation. Won’t you plan to be on hand to support our youth as they mark this important milestone in the faith pilgrimage?

Join us in continuing to support the growing faith of our youth.

Our assembly benefits enormously from many people's generous sharing.

Thank you to everyone helping us all in our worship. If you wonder whether you might have a role in our Sunday gathering, please connect with Pastor Michael.
