Property Committee Update

We apologize for the warm temperatures in the Sanctuary. 

The installation of the new rooftop AC units has not gone as smoothly as we planned.  The units themselves are fine, but the existing/accompanying electrical to support the new units is undersized and is being upgraded. 

Unfortunately, because of the heat, the work that has to occur on the roof can’t be done until the temperatures allow for safe work conditions.

Life’s preoccupations are relentless in pursuing our total attention. But in every circumstance, God’s presence is assured and is nearer to us than our own breath. Amidst the static, in silence, God’s voice emerges, calming our hearts, satisfying our longing. So, come away and rest a while with Evening Prayer and be reminded that the only thing that can name you is God’s love.

This week bishops, pastors, and lay leaders from the ELCA are gathered in Phoenix, AZ for our triennial assembly. One of the most important agenda items at this assembly is the election of a new Presiding Bishop.

Please hold outgoing Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton, all candidates, all voting members, and our denomination in your prayers.
