From the Principal's Desk
This week has brought a mixture of joy and sadness in the hearts of the Epiphany School faculty and staff. On Tuesday morning, we learned about the sudden passing of the wife of Mr. Bill Dinser, the parishioner who comes weekly to our school Mass to assist with the safety of the school children. By nightfall, we were overjoyed to hear of the birth of Mariam Rose Hutchinson, daughter to our own Seana Hutchinson, fifth grade teacher.
We learn that change is inevitable. We see it in the changing of the seasons. We teach our students about the life cycle of plants, animals, and humans and talk about our life here on earth and in heaven. The culmination of our four day weekend marks the 60th Anniversary of Epiphany Catholic School in Lake City, Florida. So much has happened in our local community, our country and the world in the past six decades!
As we prepare to celebrate our accomplishments both past and present, the students and families that have been a part of our school for over sixty years, and the parishioners who have so generously supported us, we are grateful for the many blessings we have received.
Whether you are able to join in the fun at the golf tournament or celebrate Mass with us on Sunday at 10:30 am, please keep the Dinser family, the Hutchinson family and your Epiphany Catholic School family in your prayers. May we all continue to love and serve God and one another in all that we do.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Yours In Christ,
Rita M. Klenk
