within the Catholic tradition.
From the Principal's Desk
It has been a fantastic week seeing so many pictures coming in for "Bring a Pet to School Day" , Honor Roll and family photo day! It is great to see the smiling faces of our students, even at a distance!
Plans are underway to determine the best way to celebrate our 8th grader's graduation from Epiphany at the end of the month and to acknowledge the accomplishments of our students at the end of the school year. We continue to get advisement from Bishop Estevez and keep watching the guidelines set forth by our Governor, as to the social distancing policies.
With the warm, sunny days we are experiencing, I hope that you are able to take some time to rest and "smell the roses". I have heard so many great stories from families about students and parents honing their cooking, baking, cleaning, gardening, building, reading, dancing, biking, etc. skills during their time at home together! We continue to pray for everyone and look forward to when we will be back here in person with all of our students again.
Thank you for your continued support and your willingness to work with our teachers to help your child to learn and grow during this period of time.
Yours In Christ,
Rita M. Klenk
SAVE THE DATE SUNDAY, MAY 3rd
to Join the "Car Line of Gratitude and Appreciation" for our Pastor, Father Rob Trujillo
Sunday, May 3rd at 11:30AM you are invited to a “Drive-by” celebration for our Pastor, Father Rob Trujillo, who has committed himself to heroic efforts through the Easter Triduum and now the Easter Season for his parish family.
Live streaming Masses and Adoration continue to allow us to spiritually receive and to see Jesus from the Sanctuary and Chapel of our parish home. He continues to serve the sick and the dying and is constantly in touch with our Bishop’s directives during this exceptional time in history.
In appreciation, a drive-by the church from 11:30AM to noon will be held on May 3rd.
This event will be “LIVE streamed” on Facebook.
Participants are asked to decorate their cars with positive posters, banners and streamers about Father Rob as they will pass by him in their cars at the front of the church building. You must stay in your car and move through slowly, thanking him from a distance.Father Rob will be extending a blessing for each family with the Sacred Host in the Monstrance.
A large basket will be available for you and your family to drop off a card or note of encouragement under the porte cochere in front of the church.
So please, mark the date and join us and parish parishioners in the car line of gratitude and let Father Rob know that you, too, appreciate all he has done and continues to do for all of us.
