Weekly Update | May 22, 2026

Dear Trident Academy Families,

Thank you for all the flowers, gifts, and kind words as I transition to a new adventure! These past few weeks have been like a whirlwind (they always are), but the past few days have been filled with reflection, joy, and tears.

It has been my honor and joy to serve the students and families of Trident Academy as Head of School these past eleven years. I have many wonderful memories that will keep me smiling for years to come.

While leaving is bittersweet, I take great solace in knowing that the school is in good hands and poised to continue its impactful work with students and families for years to come.

Thank you for trusting Trident Academy with your precious children.

Blessings,

Betsy

Our tentative calendar for 2026-27

SEAHAWK SCOOP:

Our Students Are Growing --

We're Collecting Gently Used Clothing

As the school year comes to a close, you're welcome to thin out your child's closet by donating his or her gently used Trident-branded clothing to our school. Please drop off your clothing items at our front desk or send them in with your child. We will let parents know this summer when we set a date for a used clothing sale before the new school year begins.

WHAT'S HAPPENING ON CAMPUS:

Our End-of-Year Celebration and Graduation was a beautiful day of honoring the growth, hard work, and unique achievements of every single student on campus.

A huge congratulations to our five amazing graduates! Watching you cross the stage was a proud moment for all of us. You leave Trident Academy with the grit, determination, and confidence to soar wherever you go next.

Thank you to our families, teachers, and staff for making this year so special. Cheers to the Class of 2026 and to a wonderful summer ahead!

Our students brought all the energy, teamwork, and Seahawk spirit to a fantastic last day of school. They participated in the Trident Olympics, playing games and enjoying some friendly competition. It was the perfect celebration to kick off a well-deserved summer break!

Because of the incredible success of our Seahawk Day of Giving, our students got to celebrate with the ultimate reward: a giant banana split party AND the chance to shave Mr. Sticco’s hair!

We had the absolute best time celebrating Betsy Fanning at her retirement party! It was a beautiful afternoon filled with lots of laughs, a few tears, and so much love as faculty, board members, and students all shared their favorite stories and memories.
