Relax & Recharge

Rest. I don’t know about you, but I feel like my life is getting faster, not slowing down. I know I’m tired. I know I can be irritable at times. I know I am slow.

Rest is essential for us. We not only crave it, but we need it to maintain healthy and productive lives. A quick Google search produces a plethora of reasons why rest is vital to a healthy lifestyle:

  • Physical benefits include cardiovascular health, immune support, tissue repair and growth, and energy replenishment.
  • Mental and cognitive benefits include memory consolidation, enhanced creativity, decision-making, and sustained focus.
  • Social-emotional benefits include stress reduction, mood stability, and stronger relationships.

I don’t know about you, but I could use a boost in all of those areas listed above! My hope is that we will be able to take advantage of the upcoming holiday break and rest a bit. This will prove hard for me because I really don’t like to sit idle. However, I do want to support my immune system, enhance my creativity, and have stronger relationships. So, maybe I’ll curl up on the couch, read a book, and sip on some spice tea.

Sounds fairly restful to me!

Enjoy the holidays, stay safe, get some rest!

Blessings,

Betsy

In addition, as our students have grown since the start of school, several of them have begun to outgrow their shirts, shorts, and skirts. To purchase Trident Academy gear, please visit our school spirit store here >> Trident Academy Gear

Re-Enrollment Period: February 2026

To help with your family's financial planning, here's a reminder that re-enrollment for 2025-26 will begin in February 2026. Associated with re-enrollment is a $1,000 enrollment fee, which will be credited to your child's tuition account for next school year.

Parents, please see Mr. Kreutner's email from December 18 about our new timeline for school-funded financial aid. Parents who submit their applications to FACTS Financial Aid Management by mid-January should be able to learn their award status during the re-enrollment period.

WHAT'S HAPPENING ON CAMPUS:

The halls are bright and spirits are high! Our students had the best time today celebrating at their holiday parties. It was the perfect way to wrap up the semester together.

Happy Holidays, Seahawks! We hope everyone has a wonderful break filled with rest, fun, and time with loved ones. We are so proud of all our students' hard work and can’t wait to see you all again in the New Year!

Our high schoolers knocked it out of the park at their Pitch Day! Their presentations were the culmination of a full semester of hard work and innovation in their Entrepreneurship class. Earlier this year, Patrick McNulty, owner of The Bourne Group, challenged our students with a real-life problem his business is currently facing. Since then, our students have been collaborating, researching, and problem-solving to find a viable solution. This week, they stepped up and delivered their final pitches to a room full of parents and teachers!

Things got a little explosive in 2nd and 3rd grade this week! Our young scientists have been studying Earth’s rapid and slow changes. To see a rapid change in action, they built and erupted their very own volcanoes!

Our archery team reached a new level of precision this week. Several of our archers were even able to shoot straight through an apple!
