Once a Seahawk, always a Seahawk

As Mrs. Fanning always says, "Once a Seahawk, always a Seahawk!" This was wonderfully demonstrated today when Michael German '22, a recent Trident Academy graduate now a college film student in California, stopped by to show his love and appreciation. We couldn't be prouder! His visit is a powerful testament to the lifelong relationships built within these walls. We look forward to building new connections this year. Have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!

SEAHAWK SCOOP:

Character Day at Trident Academy

On Friday, September 5, we will be celebrating World Literacy Day. Student can dress up as their favorite literary character!

A friendly reminder that dress code will still apply: students should not wear pajamas, T-Shirts with inappropriate graphics, spaghetti straps/sleeveless tops, crop tops, or shorts that do not follow the fingertip rule, and they should not bring props or other objects to accompany their outfit.

They are allowed to bring a stuffed animal, but it must be small enough to fit in their backpacks. We also ask that they bring a flashlight if they have one at home.

Parent Education Series: Psycho-Ed Evaluation

We are thrilled to announce our first Parent Speaker Series session! We're welcoming Dr. Jessica Anderson, our new partner psychologist, who will share everything you need to know about psycho-educational evaluations. Everyone is welcome to join us virtually on Monday, September 9, at 12 to 1 p.m. to learn why an evaluation is important, what the process looks like, and what to look for in your child’s report. WHAT'S HAPPENING ON CAMPUS:

Our students had a blast in art class this week, creating colorful designs with this unique bubble painting technique. They got extra creative and turned their bubble art into funny-faced bubble people!

Working in small groups in the math lab, our students are tackling challenges and building problem-solving skills together!

Our high schoolers are putting their word skills to the test with a game of Morphology Pictionary! They're drawing prefixes, roots, and suffixes to guess their meanings. It’s a creative way to learn!

We had a great time with the coaches from Soccer Shots who came out to campus to show all of our students some fun soccer moves. Everyone had a great time learning about the game!
