Join us on Saturday, September 19, as we gather to celebrate the start of the school year at the Charleston Battery game. It’s the perfect time to catch up, see familiar faces, and welcome new ones! SEAHAWK SUMMER:

Our artists had so much fun experimenting with watercolors this week!

Our 4th and 5th graders have been studying early American history and how Native Americans lived prior to European exploration. This week, they took their learning outside the classroom to Palmetto Islands County Park to explore the rich history of South Carolina’s local tribes!

They learned traditional skills for shelter-building, fire-making, and hunting—getting a firsthand look at how indigenous peoples used the natural resources of the Lowcountry.

Big round of applause for our amazing high schooler, Emma! This summer, she wrote and produced her own song titled "Thought You Were My Friend"—a beautiful reflection on life's twists, turns, and the moments that shape us. This week, she shared her track with the whole school and teamed up with a friend to start working on the music video! We are so proud of your talent and hard work, Emma! Keep shining! Listen to the song here!

Target practice + teamwork = pure chaos in the best way!
🎯 Pin Protection was a hit in PE this week as students put their accurate throwing and strategic defense to the test.
