Hartford Public Library (HPL) is offering FREE eye exams and glasses for children, thanks to the support of Vision To Learn!

 

Eligibility:

  • Children ages 5-18 
  • No insurance needed
  • Vision To Learn can provide each child with one eye exam every 10 months.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Your appointment may have a possible wait time. Your patience is appreciated.
  • Prescribed glasses will be available for pickup at the Library 3-4 weeks after the exam.

Jump On It!

Hartford's Double Dutch Champion, Lady Carrie, returns for the summer to teach you how to jump rope like a pro. No experience necessary, just bring your sneakers!
