Lead Athens Session

The 2024-2025 LEAD Athens Class participated in the Birth-18 Education Session last week. They heard from CCSD Leadership in a panel discussion and visited the Early Learning Center, Athens Community Career Academy, and Clarke Middle School. They finished the day learning about opportunities for involvement and hearing students' perspectives. The goal of this session is for participants to gain a deeper understanding of the scope of early learning, childcare, and public school education in Athens-Clarke County and grow awareness of the complex and dynamic role of education as it relates to the workforce, economic development, and other pieces of a healthy community.

Athens MLK Day of Service is accepting Project Site applications through November 15th. Welcome to the AACOC, Evermore Photo!

I've been photography almost anything and everything for twenty yours now (whew!). Over the last couple of years, I've narrowed my focus to branding/media kit content, personal portraits (headshots), and baby bundles. Although I still take on other projects, (mini sessions, family work, editorial stuff) that's what I enjoy the most.

In 2022, I opened my own studio, Studio Evermore! having a space to shoot branding content in has been really wonderful! Studio Evermore is also available for other photographers to rent as well!

Just read a recent review, "Hands down the most exceptional event party experience I have been involved with. The night itself went perfectly! The staff had to break down tables between dining and band and everything just flowed. The tech people had all our music and slide shows cued up and ready to go.

We had a lot of people, so a lot of drinks were flowing and the bar staff stepped up. I can not recommend Live Wire enough. So many events feel transactional, This one did not. Erin, Erika and the entire staff made the night magical." (Photo Credit: Aura Exposures Photography)
