PLE Weekly Updates
Keep informed about what is going on at Pine Lane Elementary!
Dear Parent Crew,

Well we got out on time today! No thunderstorms are in the forecast and the weather looks fabulous for the weekend. Hopefully, you and your family will be able to get outside and enjoy it!!!

Today, Chaparral High School Student Government came over and ran a Homecoming Assembly! We had cheerleaders, marching band, drumline and more. It was a good reminder that we are part of a larger system, the #Chapfam!!! The message also accentuates the Kurt Hahn quote, "We are all Crew, not passengers." Pine Lane is part of the Chaparral family and the work we do here impacts what Sierra and Chaparral are able to accomplish. We embrace our role at Pine Lane in establishing a strong foundation that can be built upon. Next week, is Chaparral's homecoming, we hope you will be able to get out to many of the activities they have planned.

Please remember that next Friday there is no school due to a district-wide professional development day. And please remember, that on September 24th at Chaparral you are invited to the  Strategic Plan Launch . This will begin at 6 pm.

Have a great weekend!!!

A Quick Note from the Cafeteria
A quick note from the cafeteria....if your student eats Breakfast and/or Lunch with us and does not know their student id/lunch number, please help them learn it. There are several students who still do not know their number and it is making our lines take a long time to go through therefore reducing the time everyone has to eat.

It would be a HUGE help if you would please make sure your child knows their number and can type it in to a keypad (practicing on a computer number pad is really helpful).

Thank you for your help!
