Dear William Paterson Students,

As we enter the last full week of the Fall semester, I hope your courses are going well and that everyone is looking forward to a much needed and deserved break.  Please take care of yourself and your loved ones in the next two weeks so that you can remain healthy over Thanksgiving.

For those who have not yet registered for your winter and/or spring courses, please do so at your earliest convenience. Delaying any longer will reduce the range of course offerings available to you, as well as the availability of different instruction modalities, where available. For Spring semester courses, payment is not due until the New Year, so please go and reserve your places now. The full list of payment deadlines can be found here.

Last Tuesday night, William Paterson hosted a virtual Scholarship Celebration, where in addition to a series of wonderful testimonials from donors and the student scholarship recipients, I announced the successful close of the scholarship campaign, which raised more than $16 million – 60 percent above the $10 million goal! Congratulations to Institutional Advancement and IRT for a hosting this great event!  You can view the full event here. Many students take advantage of our multiple undergraduate scholarship opportunities, and I encourage you to check them out here.

This week’s WPWe are Proud – On Wednesday, Nov. 11, we observed Veterans Day in gratitude to all those at William Paterson and beyond who have served our country. Of course, the work of supporting our veterans goes on year-round, and a William Paterson student, Tom Tice ’20, is doing his part through Warrior Strong, Inc., a charitable organization he founded to help improve the physical and mental health of returning service members and their families by providing them with free fitness classes. You can read more about Tom and Warrior Strong here.  Thank you to Tom and to all who serve our Veterans at WP.

Have a great week, everyone!
