St. Francis Xavier Families,

We had an awesome turn out at our St. Nick's Tree Lighting last night. Thank you to all who came out to kick off this holiday season. What a beautiful night.

On Sunday, we enter the holy season of Advent. Advent means "coming" and during this time the church in her wisdom gives us a season to slow down and prepare our hearts for the coming of the infant Christ.

During this time, we as a school have adopted 10 families through the St. Vincent de Paul Society. These 10 families need our support this season. Please consider donating a gift card to a grocery store, big box store, or a pharmacy by December 8th in support of these families.

In addition, our NJHS is collecting new or gently used toys and books to be donated to Gifts to Give. Students in PreK-1 are asked to donate books and students in grades 2-8 are asked to donate toys. Thank you again for your generosity during this season of giving!

We have LOVED seeing the Christmas cards trickle in from our families. Please continue to send those in ASAP so we can create our school family Christmas Tree!

Students will have a chance to shop for their loved ones at the St. Nick's Workshop! Our 8th graders will help them create a wishlist, shop, and wrap their presents. A wish list will be sent home for you to discern which presents are okay to have them purchase while supplies last. Money should be sent in on Monday 12/11. Items will range from $1-$10.

Consider sending your child in with a dollar or two to buy a snack a lunch.

Upcoming Calendar Need-to-Knows

Doors will open at 5:30pm. Students should wear Christmas best and report to their classrooms by 5:45pm (no jeans please). 50-50 raffle will be held! Thank you in advance for your generosity!
