St. Francis Xavier Families,

This week was a whirlwind of faith and fun here at school! Each day brought a new theme where students rocked dressing up and participating in the days activity. Today was a very beautiful day where students spent sometime with our Lord in Adoration led by Mrs. Pfunder of the diocese of Providence.

In the great re-enrollment race for a pizza party.... kindergarten is in the lead, followed by 4th grade as a close second and in third place 2nd grade! Let's see which class will take home the pizza! Just a friendly reminder to re-enroll (or apply for a new sibling) before 2/5 to save your seat before we open it to new families.

Lastly I am VERY excited to share that our 7th and 8th graders took home the champion trophy at Bishop Stang's Catholic School Challenge! On Thursday they competed against the other 7th and 8th graders in the diocese on a variety of challenges (basketball, quiz bowl, improv, STEM and more)! This is the 2nd year in a row that we have taken home the trophy! Way to go grade 7 and 8. We are super proud of you!

Just a reminder that there is an 11:30am dismissal on FRIDAY to accommodate for PD for the teachers.

This year Ash Wednesday falls on Valentine's Day. While Valentine's Day is an important celebration, Ash Wednesday is an even greater time in our church. In order for us to be able to celebrate both, we are going to do a Valentine's Day color dress down on Tuesday 2/13. In addition, we will be burying the Alleluia! (During the holy season of Lent, we do not use the word Alleluia because we are focused on the crucifixion and death of our Lord. The Alleluia comes back in joyful praise on Easter Sunday when we celebrate His resurrection!)

This is one of our largest fundraisers each year! Tickets will be $75/piece and for the first time this year, we are going to give you a $25/ticket credit towards your Family Fundraising Obligation! Please save-the-date for an awesome night of fellowship, food, music, and more!

Tickets purchased by a student's parents will be applied to FFO!

To clarify this is not specifically mother/son or father/daughter. It is open to all combinations for a family celebration! All students must have a chaperoning adult for the duration of the event.

Ladies- Valentine's Dress Gentlemen: Collared shirt. ALL non-uniform policies apply.
