St. Francis Xavier Families,

This week was a week of many lasts! We enjoyed sending PreK3 and PreK4 and Kindergarten off on summer break. A HUGE thank you to all our early childhood teachers who work tirelessly with our little Rebels. We are so proud of all the growth our PreK and K students have had this year!

Monday is field day (rain or shine)! We are praying for sunshine, but if not we are going to make the best of it and pivot to some indoor activities. Please remember:

Send your child in their class color t-shirt with appropriate bottoms (no ripped jeans).
Send your child in with a water bottle, snack, and hat/sunglasses etc.
Please apply sunscreen at HOME. We cannot apply here at school.
Lunch will be hot dog, watermelon, corn on the cob, chips, and milk. If your child does not want that, please send them in with a lunch from home in their regular lunch box.

If you are volunteering, you should have received an email with details! Below are the times for the volunteering shifts!

Morning- 8:15-11:45

Afternoon- 11:30-2:30

All Day- 8:00-2:30

Local Summer Camps

SFX Altar Boy Boot Camp

For boys entering grades 3–12 who have received First Holy Communion and whose families regularly attend Mass at SFX.

This annual training is both spiritual and fun, offering camaraderie among parish servers, time for prayer, and a field trip.

July 1–3, 2025

Please contact Fr. Ryan if your son is interested in becoming an altar server.

SFX Sacristan Training for Girls

For girls entering grades 3–12 who have received First Holy Communion and whose families regularly attend Mass at SFX.

Sacristans care for the preparations for our weekend liturgies. This summer’s training will include a field trip and an introduction to this special ministry.

Acutis Days Catholic Camp

A regional Catholic weeklong day camp hosted by Fr. Matt Gill and Holy Family Parish at St. John Neumann Church, East Freetown.

For rising 4th–8th graders (boys and girls), with options for high schoolers to serve as junior chaperones.

Campers will learn about the Faith through the lives of saints, the virtues, and the Jubilee Year--and enjoy music, games, and fun.
