St. Francis Xavier Families,

It is always such an interesting time in a school when you have one foot in this year and one foot in planning for next year! We are waiting still on two dates from the diocese before we can release the calendar. I am hopeful we will have it to send by next week!

A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Girouard and Miss Fernandes who worked so hard with your children preparing for the concert last night! We were very proud of all our young artists and performers yesterday.

Family Fundraising Obligation remaining balance statements were sent home today. Please check your child's folder! Mrs. Reis requests that those balances be paid by May 31st.

MANY families still have FACTS incidental bills that are UNPAID. It is very important those bills are paid before the end of the year in order to maintain your spot for next year. If you have questions about your FACTS billing, please contact Mrs. Reis.

Enjoy the beautiful weekend!

In His Merciful Love,

Mrs. Rogers

Introducing Ms. Emilie Bazzinotti

We are excited to announce that Ms. Bazzinotti will be joining us as our 4th grade teacher next year. She will be participating in Providence College's PACT program, and comes to us with a degree from Salve in elementary education and special education as well as a minor in Spanish. She is a native of Lowell and has a large family. Outside of school, she loves to be outdoors, horseback riding, or dancing! She is excited to meet her students and start the year off strong! We were very impressed by Ms. Bazzinotti and know that she will be a great addition to our team.

After 11 years of dedicated service to St. Francis Xavier School, Mr. Art Ferreira has decided to not return next year. Mr. Ferreira is looking to slow down a little and find some part time work. He has been a beloved middle school teacher to many and we are sad to see him go, but we are very excited for him to have more time doing the things he loves!

Looking ahead to next year, Miss Martin will be taking on history and theology. We will be posting an ELA/Literature MS position. If you know of anyone interesting in working at our school, please have them contact me.
