St. Francis Xavier Families,

We had a beautiful start to the Holy Season of Lent here this week. Students were encouraged to say a special bedtime prayer during Lent as part of their Lenten practices. In addition, Father reminded us all about the importance of Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving.

Below is the Lenten Calendar again from NJHS to help your family pray through this season.

Just a reminder that there is no school on Friday, March 14th as we have professional development AND we have a SAL Day on Monday, March 17th for NEASC.

SPEAKING of NEASC... we need your help! There is a family survey that NEASC asks that we send to gather data from our families. The teachers and I need your feedback to finish certain parts of our self-study report!

We are asking for 100% participation! Please complete the NEASC survey below. It will only take about 5-10 minutes and will provide us with valuable data as we prepare for our accrediation visit. Many thanks on behalf of our NEASC Team!

With Spring comes growth and Spring Fever!

This is a friendly reminder to make sure that we are looking sharp in the appropriate uniform attire and that we are keeping distractions to a minimum. Please remember:

-Pants should be from Donnelly's ONLY. We are seeing some pants that are not the correct style or shade of gray!

-Black belts should we worn for boys DAILY.

-Pants, jumpers, and skirts should be an appropriate length. As the kids are growing, the garments are getting shorter!

-Hair and Jewelry- Please refer to the handbooks. Boys hair should be above their collar, no mohawks or designs, and eyes should be visible. Girls are permitted to wear ONE bracelet and ONE ring. Teachers have been noticing a lot of jewelry and we need to make sure we are following the handbook TOGETHER to help minimize distractions to learning! :)

Just a reminder: NO SCHOOL for our current KINDERGARTENERS on 3/28 due to incoming K Student Screenings.

Just a reminder that $25/per ticket for parent tickets are applied to FFO!
