St. Francis Xavier Families,

Happy Rainy Friday!

Please note that our evacuation drill is postponed to Monday at 10am.

In today's Friday Folders are Read-a-thon Forms. This fundraiser is SEC sponsored and does not go towards your FFO, just to be clear, but it is a great way to help us raise some funds. Last year we raised $2,225! The purpose of this is that your kiddo asks for pledges as they read. For our littles, it's usually per book and for grades 2/3 and up it's per chapter or book. Whatever motivates your child to read works for us! We have also partnered with Texas Roadhouse and Red Robin and have special incentives if your child helps his/her school through reading!

Please know that we have purposefully tied this into our book fair! So perhaps getting a new book to read could be a great way to kick off the Read-a-thon. ;-) Now is the time to begin getting pledges, and the official reading clock will begin on 9/30!

In His Merciful Love,

Mrs. Rogers

Don't miss this AWESOME presentation for parent formation on online and social media safety for kids! SmartGen is an official partner of the FBI and a great organization to connect with.

The presenter, Amie Konwinski, has spent her career in military leadership, computer engineering, executive marketing management, and advocating for safe and private digital use. She is a dynamic and national speaker who is passionate at educating parents, teachers, and kids about digital safety!

Students in grades 3-8 will receive a presentation from Amie as well.

Parents who attend will receive a dress down pass for their kids!
