Good Morning Seaside (GMS) is a Seaside Chamber of Commerce weekly networking event held every Wednesday morning from 8AM-9AM at various locations throughout the city. Each week a different business/organization is selected as a host.

Astoria Scandinavian Festival

The Astoria Scandinavian Midsummer Festival has been a tradition on the North Coast of Oregon for over fifty years! Check their website for a full list of events. The festival embodies the rich cultural heritage that was transplanted to the Astoria, Oregon region by emigrants from the Nordic lands.

Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks!

Celebrate the 4th at Seaside’s annual 4th of July Parade. The route will start at the south end of Necanicum. From Necanicum it will turn east on 1st Avenue, then south on Holladay Drive to Broadway, west to Columbia, east to 1st Avenue back to Necanicum. At night, Seaside will host the 4th of July Fireworks Celebration - one of the largest fireworks shows on the West Coast. The festivities start at dusk, which is about 10pm.

Seaside Beach Volleyball

Happening August 7th-10th at Seaside Beach

Seaside Beach Volleyball is the LARGEST Beach Volleyball Tournament in North America. Each year, over 40,000+ people from around the globe descend on Seaside for Four days of Volleyball on the incredible Oregon Coast.

From Amateur to Open Divisions and from junior to adults, we have divisions for each skill level.

Hood To Coast

The Providence Hood & Portland To Coast Relay is the most popular and largest running/walking relay race in the world, drawing participants from over 40 countries and all 50 states. Known as the Mother of All Relays, the event takes 8-12 member relay teams through the unique and beautiful Oregon terrain, starting from the iconic top of Mount Hood and ending at the beaches of the Pacific Ocean!
