Thanksgiving Hours

Our office is closing at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and will remain closed until Monday, Nov. 28, at 9 a.m. We hope you have a happy Thanksgiving with family and friends!

Register for 2023 Breakfasts & Lunches & Save $$

Register and prepay for our 2023 breakfasts and lunches, and save $40! In 2023, we will have 10 breakfasts and two lunches. If you attend all of them, the total cost is $290. Mark your calendars! In 2023, breakfast dates are Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, Aug. 11, Sept. 8, Oct. 13, and Nov. 9. In lieu of breakfast, we will hold our Great American Cookout on July 11, and our Bowling for Business Tournament & Lunch on Dec. 1.

Okaloosa County 2022 Community Survey Opens to all Residents

Okaloosa County is pleased to announce that the comprehensive quality of life survey, previously offered to randomly selected residents living in unincorporated areas of the county, is now open to all residents living in Okaloosa County. The open participation survey, found at https://polco.us/okaloosa22op, runs Nov. 1 – 15, 2022.

We ask that, if residents received a mailed survey invitation, please respond via that survey link instead of the open participation survey. For those who have already responded to that survey, please do not participate in this one as well; the survey questions are identical, and your responses have been noted.

City of Destin to Host “Elf on the Shelf” Christmas Parade

The 38th annual “Elf on the Shelf” Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at 10 a.m. The floats will begin at the Downtown Destin Shopping Center and travel west down Harbor Boulevard (Hwy 98) to Stahlman Avenue. Spectators are asked to stand on the north side of Harbor Boulevard to watch the parade. For those who wish to participate in the parade, the application is available online at www.cityofdestin.com/DocumentCenter/View/15248/Christmas-Parade-Application.
