Note from the Rector

Dear Friends,

Sunday was a wonderful day at Ascension! Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make space for us to worship, study, and eat together in the name of Christ. The pews were full, our Sunday school rooms were full, our stomachs were full, and our hearts were full with the good news of God's love made available to everyone through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The slideshow below gives you a glimpse from Sunday.

While I know that the fall is super busy for many of you especially those with children, I hope and pray that you find ways to stay connected to your parish family. There are so many ways that God is using Ascension to help us stay rooted in Christ's peace in a world that seems to be in constant chaos. I also hope and pray that you see how God is using Ascension to help you see how your own needs are so often met when serving the needs of others.

As always, don't hesitate to reach out to one of your clergy for spiritual direction or prayer. We want to help bring you closer to God and the community God is (and has) creating in Christ.

See you soon!

Faithfully,

Jack+
