While city offices remain closed to public access, court staff is preparing to begin court operations with new safety protocols and modifications next week unless the Washington Supreme Court extends the closure of courts. As shown in the photo above (right), the Justice & Municipal Center lobby is now lined with stanchions to direct visitors and social distancing signage. Additional measures will be implemented to protect the health and safety of the public and staff. Pop-up blood donor center coming to Sumner
If you are looking for a way to help give back to your community, please consider donating blood. In partnership with Bloodworks Northwest, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sumner is hosting a "Pop-Up Donor Center" during the first two weeks of June.

You might be wondering what is a "Pop-Up Donor Center"? Due to COVID-19, mobile blood drives have been cancelled. Blood banks are setting up temporary collection centers at large facilities that can provide enough space to ensure properly distancing to keep staff and blood donors safe.

Appointments are required to donate blood, and no guests or people under the age of 16 are permitted on-site to support safe social distancing and minimize wait time.

For more information and to schedule your appointment, visit https://www.bloodworksnw.org/donate/find-mobile-blood-drive .
There’s still time to complete the 2020 Census! 72% of Bonney Lake households have responded to the 2020 Census already, but it's important that everyone is counted. It only takes a few minutes, your answers are secure, and participation will impact our region and communities for the next decade, determining where federal funding and political representation goes. Take the Census now at my2020census.gov.
