Hosted by the Comfort Heritage Foundation, this community Open House invites everyone to learn about our town’s rich history and the Foundation’s role in preserving it. Enjoy a fun, interactive history game, live music by Comfort’s own Shane Stumpf, tasty nibbles and refreshments, and a chance to tour a Comfort Volunteer Fire Department truck. Comfort's Easter Walk is a time-honored tradition that began in 1980. With distances of 5K/10K, the route will emphasize the beauty of the Texas Hill Country in Spring. This is a non-competitive event and welcomes all ages. Start at the Comfort Park anytime between  8 am and 11 am on Saturday, April 19th to follow the marked trail. A limited number of colored eggs will be hidden along the trail to be turned in at the finish for a prize. There will also be a breakfast and lunch concession available.

Comfort area Authors, Artists and Artisans are invited to come display--and sell--their work at this free to the public event. Everyone's talent will have its own table and will be displayed in the Comfort Backyard, while Comfort residents are reading for 12 hours from the Backyard's stage. Come out and enjoy the Spring Hill Country weather while shopping local talent and enjoying nearby food and drinks (spirited and non-spirited). There is no cost to either the public or to the displayers at the fun event brought to you by Comfort Public Library!
