OPENING RECEPTION: "ARE WE THERE YET? invites viewers into the ongoing journey of making art—a process of discovery, transformation, and reinvention. Kristy Darnell Battani weaves vintage print materials into abstract, textile-inspired art and creates portraits of overlooked women leaders. Sharon Kyle repurposes rusted metal, wire, and wood into symbolic assemblages that explore resilience and change. Hank Lumen paints textured, surreal cowboy scenes inspired by cave art and childhood drawings. Each artist embraces the unpredictability of creation, where the joy lies not in the destination but in the unfolding process.
