Kerrville TX Flood

The PCUSA Presbyterian Disaster Assistance agency is already on the ground to help with last Friday's flood. Destructive, fast-moving waters along the Guadalupe River rose 26 feet in just 45 minutes, and few effective warning systems were successfully activated. Click to donate,

Pastor-to-People

On June 24, our Church Session approved a Technology Task Force to address our Church mission and goals, identify Church ministry needs, assess our current technology, including inventorying and evaluating existing equipment, and learning from other churches.

Please remember this task force in your prayers as they seek to assess and evaluate the technology our church already has in place, and what we may want to improve upon. To this wonderful group of folks, I say thank you and God bless you

Peace,

Frank

A Grateful Thank You From Crystal and all the Hugheses!

Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the entire congregation and the Scholarship Committee for your generosity and kindness.

Our daughter was honored to receive a Scholarship of Grace, and we are so grateful for all the encouragement, prayers, thoughtful cards, and warm wishes you have shared with her. Your support has been a true blessing and a source of strength as she looks ahead to this next chapter.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a caring community. Your generosity and love will stay with her as she continues her education and pursues her dreams.

I thank my God every time I remember you. – Philippians 1:3

Rev. Frank Yates Will be Speaking on "Peaks and Valleys of Scripture", at the Oasis of Albuquerque, Tomorrow, July 11, 10am

This lecture explores the highs in scripture as well as the lows; those aspects of scripture that give us pause, and those aspects that give us delight. Using Rachel Held Evans’ book, Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water and Loving the Bible Again, Frank will offer new ways to interpret scripture so that the highs are emphasized, and the lows are relegated to the back burner. This class is for anyone who has been delighted, or disgusted, with what they find in Scripture. The Albuquerque Oasis is located at 3301 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque. More information.
