DISABILITY AWARENESS

At SUNY Niagara, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all members of our community can learn, work, and thrive. Disabilities—whether visible or invisible—are a natural part of human diversity. By practicing empathy, using respectful language, and ensuring our spaces, programs, and communications are accessible, we help create a campus where everyone feels valued and supported.

This week, take a moment to consider how accessibility impacts everyday experiences as you travel across the campus or interact online. Small actions, such as providing accessible documents, using captions in videos, or being mindful of different communication needs, can make a meaningful difference. If you encounter any accessibility barriers during your time here, Accessibility Services is here to support you.

Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive SUNY Niagara community where every individual has the opportunity to succeed.
